Chris Olsen says breakup with Harrison Dockerty followed cheating revelation

Chris Olsen says his relationship with Harrison Dockerty ended after he learned he had been “diabolically cheated on” during an Olivia Dean concert.

The TikTok creator, who has 14 million followers, posted a video on Thursday with that caption. He later added: “Concert was amazing at least!!” after noting that the clip was filmed at the show.

Within minutes, some of Olsen’s fans began leaving hostile comments on Dockerty’s older Instagram posts, with users accusing him of cheating and saying Olsen “deserves way better.”

Dockerty responded in a statement to People magazine, confirming that the pair had gone their separate ways.

“Out of respect for Chris and the relationship we shared, I’d prefer to keep matters private,” he said. “I don’t think it’s healthy or productive for personal relationship issues to be discussed publicly, and I hope we can both move forward with kindness and respect.”

People reported that Olsen and Dockerty have unfollowed each other on Instagram, and that Olsen deleted videos he had posted of the two of them together.

Olsen began posting about the relationship in October, while keeping Dockerty’s face obscured for months. He revealed Dockerty’s identity on Dec. 22, his 28th birthday, with the caption: “Finally found him.”

Dockerty lives in London and graduated in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in geography and management from the University of St. Andrews, according to People. He served as president of the university’s Global Investment Group and head of marketing of the Investment Society on campus.

He now works as a real estate fund analyst at Knight Frank in London, according to his LinkedIn profile.

Olsen first went viral in 2020 when he and then-boyfriend Ian Paget posted quarantine videos during the pandemic. They split in January 2022, and Olsen later said he would be more private about future relationships.

“I would never, never share it in the way that we did,” he told Paget in a 2023 video series, according to People. “Relationships are complicated in general; having other opinions only really makes it harder.”

Olsen also wrote on TikTok: “I’m not tryna be a couple [account] again and for once I’m being more private & that’s nice. I knowww the censor is annoyingggg but I still want to make these kinds of vids bc I am vvvv happyyyyy.”

His more recent viral videos have included a series in which he delivers coffee to celebrities, as well as posts about being targeted with revenge porn and what he described as a “public breakdown” last year that led him to question how he presented himself online.

Olsen did not respond to Out’s request for comment as of press time.
